In this particular case, it seems that Ms Kasuri is more heart-broken because of the silence and the lack of response.
LAHORE: This is with reference to the story “Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif contacts Fauzia Kasuri, asks her to join PML-N” (June 4). I do not think the sole reason for Ms Kasuri’s agitation is denial of a National Assembly seat to her. People belonging to an organisation can have differences of opinion over a lot of decisions. When this happens, this is talked out and discussed within the members of that organisation and those at the helm of affairs can then try and justify their decisions to those who may not agree with them.
In this particular case, it seems that Ms Kasuri is more heart-broken because of the silence and the lack of response given to her by the party leadership over her not getting a National Assembly seat than by the actual act of denying her the seat itself. If the matter had been dealt with in a wise manner internally, there would have been no such discussions in the media and subsequent offers from political opponents.
