Syed Azfar Rizvi was a great educationist, philanthropist and social worker.
KARACHI: This is with reference to the story “Targeting education: Educationist Azfar Rizvi gunned down in Karachi” (June 1). I knew Syed Azfar Rizvi as a great educationist, philanthropist, social worker and as a person, who was associated with a number of NGOs, while also being an active member of society, who had a vast social circle and counted among his friends people from every walk of life. His doors were always open for every single person of Karachi.
I had an opportunity to meet him last November and it was a pleasure to meet such an affable personality. May he rest in peace.
