The corrupt do not suffer in this society but those who are not corrupt are doomed to suffer.
ISLAMABAD: This is in connection with the story “Corruption charges: Presidential reference against AGP put on ice” (May 31). Corruption has become a way of life in the Pakistani society. It is considered the best kit for survival in our country. The corrupt do not suffer in this society but those who are not corrupt are doomed to suffer. It is ironic that the relevant file against the auditor general is not traceable in the prime minister’s secretariat. I suggest that the desk officer concerned should be taken to task regarding the matter and he will surely spill the beans.
