In order to be an unbiased writer, Shafi should not & simply cannot go on & on against one particular group or party.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Kamran Shafi’s article “Onward, after the elections” (May 24). In this article, he has criticised the PTI and its chief for the fact that they are using harsh and abusive language against his preferred party, the PML-N. In doing so, he totally ignores similar language used by the PTI’s opponents, many of whom are senior politicians, against Imran Khan and his family. In order to be an unbiased writer, Mr Shafi should not and simply cannot go on and on against one particular group or party. He needs to realise the deep faults within other parties as well and criticise them in the same manner, too. He also needs to realise that there are bigger issues at hand other than the use of abusive language by party leaders.
