This is with reference to your editorial ‘The case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui’ (September 25)
HYDERABAD: This is with reference to your editorial ‘The case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui’ (September 25) regarding the culmination of her case in a US court. She is innocent and no finger prints or other evidence supporting the allegations of the prosecution were found from the alleged crime scene. What was, however, proven was the fact that she was shot in the abdomen. In any case, circumstances of the case’s hearing were such that it was unlikely that she would get a fair trial in the US.
