Democracy is not something you introduce once and then give up on.
ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Khurram Husain’s article “Surviving democracy” (September 23). Democracy is not something you introduce once and then give up on. It is a continuous battle for improvement and takes time. Democracy, more than a system, is a set of ideologies and the attitude of the people of the country. As democracy can take time to implement and be executed, one must remember to remain patient.
