To prevent further accidents, the DHA should either immediately partition the road.
KARACHI: This is with reference to several accidents that have taken place on one of DHA Karachi’s main thoroughfares, Khayaban-e-Shaheen. The road begins at the Do Talwar roundabout and goes all way through Phases five and six and beyond Khayaban-e-Ittehad to Phase Eight. It is here that the road has become a veritable death trap — and because for some reason the authorities have not built a road divider along its middle. This has resulted in several head-on collisions. To prevent further accidents, the DHA should either immediately partition the road, or at least build six speed breakers on it.
