Before pointing fingers at other people, one must realise that we are also part of the problem.
KARACHI: This is in reference to the article “My list of what’s wrong with our country” by Mikail Lotia (September 20). As a nation, we tend to take everything pessimistically, we always assume the worst of everything and everyone. Instead of just jumping to conclusions, we need to think rationally and logically about the problem and, even more importantly, how and where it originated. Only then will we be able to tackle the problem efficiently. We must not forget that we are a developing country and we will, naturally, have to face certain difficulties and problems.
Before pointing fingers at other people, ordinary or those in positions of power, one must realise that we are also part of the problem and we should first fix ourselves and then move on to fix others.
