We should all be mindful that politics in Pakistan is far from civilised.
SYDNEY: Basil Nabi Malik (September 20) is correct in raising questions from the vantage point of a civilised individual. However, we should all be mindful that politics in Pakistan is far from civilised. People blame every setback, grief and killing of their beloved leaders on the government. The way to express this is to show their utter displeasure and this is displayed by burning down shops, cars, buses and killing people. Despair runs deep in society and such events only reflect this feeling.
