KARACHI: This is with reference to the article “Discrimination in flood relief” by Syed Mohmmed Ali (September 17). The writer has rightly pointed out the fact that the funds accumulated are supposed to provide relief to all flood victims without discrimination. Unfortunately, we are a cynical nation that takes pride in this ritual of injustice. Everybody knows that the rights of minorities have always been largely ignored in Pakistan, more so in recent years.
