Religious processions should be avoided for the time being as they to be easy targets of sectarian outfits.
SIALKOT: With reference to Ammar Zafarullah’s article of September 14, the sorry fact is that human life is cheap in Pakistan. It is extremely disturbing that Muslims are killing Muslims in a country which itself was founded for Muslims.
The entire concept of having and independent country for Muslims was so that they would not be persecuted and be safe in a country that was their own. I would agree with the interior minister’s remarks that religious processions and rallies should be avoided for the time being since they seem to be easy targets of sectarian outfits.
