Organizations promoting sectarianism have been banned, but this will not have a long-lasting effect.
ISLAMABAD: This is in reference to the article “Pakistan’s sectarian dilemma” by Ammar Zafarullah (September 14). There have indeed been positive initiatives of banning organisations which promote sectarianism but these will not have any long-lasting effect until and unless we do something to address the ideology and the mentality which creates them.
