It’s a great moment for the Indian army to assert itself as well.
JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA: Who is the beneficiary of having a tense LoC? Who benefits from Pakistani hockey players being sent home, or if concerts by Pakistani musicians are cancelled? Or if the recently-introduced visa-on-arrival scheme is put on hold?
Only the hawks on both sides benefit — hence the BJP trying to extract political mileage out of the situation, putting the Congress-led government on the back foot? And it’s a great moment for the Indian army to assert itself as well.
Have we got any real leaders in the subcontinent? Leaders who can lead the people, and are not led by the pressure of public opinion, opposition parties, and narrow-minded military and a ratings-hungry media?
