ISLAMABAD: What a travesty of justice. The man who exposed the rental power projects scam by asking the Asian Development Bank to conduct an independent audit, and then took a firm stand in the cabinet and in the media on this issue, has been placed on the same list as some of the crooks who were hell bent on ripping off this nation’s money.
Former finance minister Shaukat Tarin deserves our profound respect and gratitude for his upright actions during his time in office — not by being punished for his incorruptibility.
