There are far too many interpretations of the Islamic ideology in the market.
RAWALPINDI: This is with reference to the article “Why equate suicide attacks with Islam" by Naveed Hussain (September 8).There are far too many interpretations of the Islamic ideology in the market. Some of them indeed are extremely violent and repressive. However, Islam as a religion does not encourage individuals to be violent. What we need is a better understanding of our religion. Muslims should be taught to live and let live for their religion. Tolerance needs to be taught and promoted.
