Regardless of Qadri's past, if country is to move forward, what he says is just what ought to be done.
CHITRAL: The present government has been crushing the aspirations of the people for the last five years. A former prime minister from the ruling party even went as far as to suggest that people can leave the country if they are not happy living here. Protests, hunger strikes, people committing suicides due to poverty, etc. have made no difference to the ruling elite. It has completely ignored the people at large and only concentrated on obliging parliamentarians who help keep them in power.
When things reach such a stage, nature intervenes and it seems that Dr Tahirul Qadri may just have been sent to give the ruling elite a taste of the system it has helped create and perpetuate, i.e., getting things done through brute force. There seems to be a sense to his madness. Regardless of his past credentials, if the country is to move forward, what he says is just what ought to be done to get rid of the corrupt ruling elite.
