The situation in Pakistan is not any better.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Anshul Pandey’s article of December 31 titled “How I changed my mind about rapists”.
It’s really a very sad and tormenting time for the family of the victim and everyone who prayed for her well-being. Unfortunately, the situation in Pakistan is not any better. And this shows up also in the way we bring up our daughters. For instance, one of my maternal aunts has one child, a daughter, and doesn’t let her out of the house alone, even with any of the close male relatives.
