The curse of bureaucracy and corruption rampant all over South Asia is embedded in the political scenario of India.
BHOPAL: This is with reference to Maya Mirchandani’s article "Fun and Games in Delhi" (September 8). The article articulates well the sentiments of the inhabitants of Delhi.
The curse of bureaucracy and corruption rampant all over South Asia is embedded in the political scenario of India. Hence, it is unreasonable to think India should be free of that curse. The most important point made in this article is education. Instead of imposing restrictions we should take the time to actually educate the mass population on issues such as: manners, hygiene and so on. The only thing the games have done is increase the frustration levels of an already frustrated population.
