Plea to the CJ

Letter December 20, 2012
Although I am not satisfied with the role of the judiciary, my father says that you are the last hope of Pakistan.

KARACHI: I am a 19-year-old university student. I belong to a middle-class educated family. I am very concerned about my future in Pakistan and I am very worried because I see that the government seems to be doing nothing about it. We stand nowhere in the list of peaceful, educated and respected countries of the world. I go to university everyday with the fear of being targeted by brutal killers that seem to roam around in Karachi. I am not afraid of death because one day, everyone has to go, but yes, I am afraid of what the future holds for me.

Although I am not satisfied with the role of the judiciary, my father says that you are the last hope of Pakistan. I want to meet you personally. I am nothing but an ordinary citizen of this state, but I want you to listen to the concerns of common Pakistanis. I want to ask you for how long will we have to bear all this.
