Players such as Younis Khan and Imran Farhat should have been dropped if performance is any yardstick.
FATEH JANG: This is with reference to the composition of the Pakistan cricket team announced for the upcoming tour of India. It is good to give a chance to new blood but there seem to be some controversial exclusions/inclusions. The selectors say that they are giving a chance to new blood but surprisingly a new face, Zulfiqar Babar, is 34 years old. Players such as Younis Khan and Imran Farhat should have been dropped if performance is any yardstick.
And lastly, why can’t we find anyone other than Kamran Akmal behind the wickets? His habitual misfielding has cost us a lot of matches in the past but he continues to be in the team.
