There are many areas in the city where people do not get a single drop of water for days or even weeks.
KARACHI: Through your widely circulated newspaper I wish to draw the attention of the Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) to the terrible water supply situation in the city. There are many areas in the city where people do not get a single drop of water for days or even weeks — and despite that we get billed for “water charges” month after month.
At the same time, there seems to be enough water in the city because the very homes and offices that do not get any water, do get it via the tankers’ mafia.
My question is to both the KWSB and the Sindh government, because what are they doing to prevent the tankers’ mafia from making billions every year and robbing millions of Karachiites in the process? Or are they also part of the mafia?
