KARACHI: Ours is a society where bigotry and intolerance is institutionalised, where odious, discriminatory laws are enforced. But we live in the delusion of being better than the rest of the world and better than the people of other religions. In our society, debate and critical thinking is met with charges of blasphemy, there is a suffocating blanket of conformity. We have chosen to close off our brains and follow rigid dogma without question.
