I think that the wire fence along the motorway has been damaged in several places.
LAHORE: I use the M2 Motorway quite frequently to travel between Lahore and Islamabad. Lately, I have observed animals roaming unchecked on it at several locations. A couple of weeks ago, one of my friends and his family had an accident when his car hit a dog near Bhera. The other day, my car narrowly missed a donkey in the high-speed lane near Chakwal.
I think that the wire fence along the motorway has been damaged in several places. I would request the Motorway Police and the NHA to conduct a thorough check and block all animal ingress points before a serious accident takes place.
