Shouldn’t the secret fund of the ministry of information be taken away and spent on education and health instead?
LAHORE: Could the people of Pakistan please be informed how the ministry of information and broadcasting has spent its so-called secret fund? I never understand why such ministries exist in the first place since their primary function seems to be to serve the propaganda interest of the government of the day. Also, media organisations and bodies should realise that if they take money from the ministry of information, they stand to lose their credibility. Shouldn’t the secret fund of the ministry of information be taken away and spent on education and health instead?
