The post of the managing director of Pepco has been lying vacant for the past three to four months.
LAHORE: I would like to draw the attention of the federal minister for water and power towards the fact that the post of the managing director of Pepco has been lying vacant for the past three to four months, which has resulted in the decision-making process in the power sector coming to a standstill. There are thousands of cases relating to posting of officials, inter-company transfers, deputation sanctions and other such matters that are pending due to the post of the managing director lying vacant
This has, in turn, resulted in financial hardships for the employees of Pepco. It is requested that the vacant post be filled at the earliest to redress the grievances of Pepco employees.
