Do they actually believe that they are in the possession of ALL the necessary ‘silver bullets’?

I think it is we (South Asians) who should be ‘bemused’, indeed flummoxed, by the logic those in the West use —what on earth makes them think that whatever works for one simply MUST work for anyone and everyone else? Do they actually believe that they are in the possession of ALL the necessary ‘silver bullets’?
