Appeal to President, PM to help Shamsherul Haidri, who is suffering from bone cancer
KARACHI:
On behalf of the people of Sindh, I appeal to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Asharaf to save the life of a legend of Sindh, Shamsherul Haidri — philosopher, writer, poet, playwright and the first newscaster of a Sindhi TV bulletin — who has been admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi as he is suffering from bone cancer. Right now he is in a critical condition and is fighting for his life.
Mr Haidri is an asset of Sindh and his life must be saved. I appeal to the president and the prime minister to send Mr Haidri abroad for treatment without wasting further time.
