PM’s secretariat, all his staff must be vigilant against further dents to already much-dented image of Mr Ashraf.
ISLAMABAD: Though the current prime minister does not enjoy a great track record during his time as minister for water and power, yet, as prime minister, he has made a positive move to place restriction on his family members from availing of benefits by using his name. It is now the responsibility of government officials to strictly monitor and disrupt efforts by any unscrupulous person or impostor, aiming to influence any government functionary to get any favour despite issuance of this clear order.
If someone succeeds in using the prime minister’s name to get any privileges, officials of the PM secretariat ought to bear the responsibility for this. Therefore, the PM’s secretariat and all his staff must be vigilant against further dents being caused to the already much-dented image of Mr Ashraf.
