Kamran Shafi speaks ill about the finest institution that has made Pakistan proud — the military in his columns.
MILWAUKEE, WI, US: This is with reference to Kamran Shafi’s article “An open challenge to the propagandists” (July 13). I would like to tell the writer that people such as myself, who regularly criticise what he writes, do so not because we hold a grudge against him but because of more cogent reasons. For instance, it seems that in each column of his, he speaks ill about the finest institution that has made Pakistan proud — the military.
It seems as if Mr Shafi is unperturbed by the political, economic, social and monetary damage that the PPP has done, since he has yet to write a single column on the ruling government’s incompetence and corruption.
