I do not wish to express any concern or opinion regarding who wins these awards and for what reasons.
LAHORE: This is with reference to the story “For Sale: Brands of the year awards?” (July 6) in your newspaper. I was contacted by Mr Farooq Baloch for information regarding why my company does not participate in the Brands of the Year Awards. I feel the text “Her concerns seem legitimate” is misleading as it implies that the way in which the Brands Awards operate is of great concern to me and that it upsets me that a competitor has won the award, whereas I could not care less.
I simply stated my reason for not making a submission to the Brands Awards and did not express any concern or opinion regarding who wins these awards and for what reasons. I hope that this clarifies the misrepresentation of my opinion.
