LAHORE: The people of Pakistan have a right to know the stand of all political parties on the vital issue of giving dual nationals the right to stand for public office in this country. One asks this because of reports in the media that the government is planning to amend the law and allow dual nationals to contest for public office and become members of parliament. If passed, this amendment will have far more serious consequences for our sovereignty than any other issue.
