We must not ignore the TTP brutality amid the din caused by Pakistan’s recurring political crises.
RAWALPINDI: The recent beheading of a security personnel by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is not the first incident of this nature committed by the party. Rather, this kind of savagery has been witnessed several times before.
Unfortunately, a large section of our political class, the media, the legal community and the ulema have maintained a deafening silence on such actions. There is a dire need to focus attention on the criminal acts being carried out by the TTP and their savagery must be condemned by all. We must not ignore the TTP brutality amid the din caused by Pakistan’s recurring political crises.
