Not everyone in the world shares the US view and the US is not right all the time.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Arif Rafiq’s article “Power and popularity” (June 23). The writer states: “Politics is about getting what you want, not being liked. But being hated has its costs”.
If going against the US is what it takes to get Pakistan out of the mess it is in right now, then we will pay that cost. What can be worse than the past decade? I am sure we can handle it. Not everyone in the world shares the US view and the US is not right all the time.
