Everyone knows that Yousaf Raza Gilani’s government was an incompetent one.
HYDERABAD: This is with reference to your editorial “Judicial coup?” (June 20). The Pakistan Peoples Party government has completely failed to deliver on any front so far in its tenure. From the dismal law and order situation prevalent in the country to the various corruption scandals to the financial and energy crises, its performance has been abysmal to say the least.
However, the courts too, have failed to effectively deliver timely justice to the people of Pakistan. In fact, some would say that they have started to get involved in politics, which cannot be viewed in a positive light. Everyone knows that Yousaf Raza Gilani’s government was an incompetent one. But the decision to disqualify him from the prime minister’s position also seems more to be a political one.
