Quite happy with my Pakistani passport

Letter June 04, 2012
The harshness of the criticism was, I believe, unwarranted. But I think those who did comment meant well: Mooraj.

KARACHI:

I am sorry to disappoint some of the readers who posted comments online in response to my article of May 30 titled “A glimpse at Howrah Bridge”.

I am quite happy with my Pakistani passport. My father migrated to Pakistan in 1947, because as an Indian Muslim he felt it was the right thing to do. He was the Quaid-e-Azam’s dental surgeon and was given a national award by Ayub Khan. The harshness of the criticism was, I believe, unwarranted. But I think those who did comment meant well.
