ISLAMABAD: It is an open secret that the establishment as well as the judiciary in the past had held a grudge against the PPP-led governments. Even in the case of the current dispensation, problems were first created through memogate and the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the matter. When that failed, the prime minister was targeted but he, too, stood his ground and rightly responded by saying that he owed his post to the people of Pakistan who had elected him.
