KARACHI: The curse of power cuts has become like a chronic disease that damages the normal life of people in this country. Yes, if it were an occasional occurrence, no one would have bothered about it, but to experience power outages for as much as 12 hours in a day is asking a bit much from even the most patient.
What is perhaps even more unfortunate is that the government does not seem too overly moved about this situation because no mitigating measure seems to have been made to ease the suffering of people on this account.
