I am not exaggerating, but of each of the numbers that I called, not a single one was answered.
ISLAMABAD: I had to ring up the passport office for information on getting a new passport. I called one number in Islamabad and there was no answer. I then went to the passport office’s website at www.dgip.gov.pk and managed to get a total of 13 numbers of passport offices all over the country. I am not exaggerating, but of each of the numbers that I called, not a single one was answered.
This just goes to show the state of this very important office of public dealing, which is administered by our redoubtable interior minister.
