The PCB must give Hafeez full opportunity to come into his own as a captain
KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Mohammad Hafeez as the national Twenty20 captain. The PCB has made changes to the captaincy around six times in the last three years. A captain needs proper time at the helm to deliver results and should not be changed after every few series.
Hafeez seems to be the right choice for Twenty20 captaincy but can anyone guarantee that he will be allowed proper time to settle into the job? The PCB must give him full opportunity to come into his own as a captain and must not take any rash decisions regarding captaincy.
