This is with reference to Syed Talat Hussain’s article “Sign of things to come” (April 27). After the prime minister’s conviction in the contempt of court case, the Pakistan Peoples Party has got the greatest card of all.
It has combined the Sindh, shaheed and Seraiki cards into one and has now obtained the ‘master’ card to win sympathies for itself. This ‘master’ card will ensure seats in the coming elections and can be used to deflect all sorts of criticism.
