Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, or at least the so-called services it offers, is in a shambles.
KARACHI: Like everything else since this government has taken over, even Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, or at least the so-called services it offers, is in a shambles.
The other night, I happened to call the flight inquiry number, and it was only after five minutes that someone answered. First, the gentleman had no clue about the flight details but somehow managed to get the information for me. Just for my knowledge, I asked him what had happened to the wonderful automated system we had, and he said that it was “stolen”. When I asked him when will you get another one, he said never because it’s “too expensive”.
