Even members of parliament do not get the kind of exposure that is given to Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.
ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Rashid Ahmad is president of the Awami Muslim League which to my knowledge does not have even a secretary general. My question is that how does the president of what essentially is a one-man party among the most popular talk-show guests these days? He is not even a member of parliament now, which would make sense and justify his presence on television screens. But even members of parliament do not get the kind of exposure that is given to him.
Can anybody throw some light on the magic wand which Sheikh Rashid wields enabling him to appear on television almost on a daily basis? Surely, our television channels can find a reasonable substitute?
