I believe Imran Khan has committed a gross mistake by allowing members of other parties to enter the PTI.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Talat Hussain’s article “More of the same” (March 17). I believe Imran Khan has committed a gross mistake by allowing members of other parties to enter the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). It would not have mattered had their arrival in PTI ranks been a low-profile affair but that was not the case. Their arrival was made out to be a huge deal by PTI supporters and it seemed that the Qureshies and the Hashmis were the greatest liberators of the country. It is indeed mind-boggling that when these people could not do anything worthwhile for Pakistan in their old parties for a quarter of a century, then what amazing accomplishments will they be able to achieve as part of PTI now.
