KARACHI: This is with reference to Kamran Shafi’s article “Off comeuppances, and superior airs” (March 16). I hope General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and the people at the Inter-Services Public Relations do read this article. It is high time that it is realised that it is not the debates on TV channels about the army and the ISI that bring disrepute to these institutions, but the conduct of generals who have headed them and their complicity in following unlawful orders that have shamed these institutions.
