ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Pervez Hoodbhoy’s article of March 5, titled “Run for your life”. When Muslims engage themselves in a religious debate most of them consider their beliefs right and others wrong. This kind of intolerance for the beliefs of others can lead to outright quarrelling soon enough. Also, there are religious schools and institutions which misguide their students about the beliefs of other sects. To make matters worse, the state itself is confused about its ideology. How can one live in such a society?
