RAWALPINDI: Cats seem to have taken over the children’s ward of the military hospital in Rawalpindi. The other day, I visited my newly-born nephew who is in the said ward and I was shocked to see the terrible level of hygiene there. At the entrance to the ward were several cats, and this is clearly not going to be good as far as hygiene for the patients, or newborns, is concerned. Surely, the hospital’s administration needs to sort out this issue because it could lead to infections.
