CM Punjab did come out in the open but surely this revelation cannot bring back those who are dead.
LAHORE: This refers to the ongoing deaths and illness of heart patients who took medicines from the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Eventually it came out, via a press conference given by the chief minister that the medicines which caused the deaths of the patients had a chemical which is used to treat malaria. But since the dosage was extremely high, it caused a severe reaction in those who took the pills. The point is that the chief minister of the province did come out in the open but surely this revelation cannot bring back those who are dead. The question is, who was supposed to keep a check and ensure that if you take a medicine you don’t end up dying. Surely, the chief minister cannot escape blame by simply saying that the medicines were manufactured in a factory situated in Karachi — after all, they were dispensed in Lahore.
