Judicial process in Pakistan is slow and Ms Zehra has made good arguments.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Nasim Zehra’s article of January 20 titled “A good day’s hearing”. From the perspective of the judicial process in Pakistan, which is slow and needs major reform to deliver speedier justice, Ms Zehra has made good arguments. One question that comes to mind is that what message is being sent to government officials when the prime minister and his government do not comply with the apex court’s explicit orders asking them to embark on a particular course of action.
