Taliban may say that they want to talk but truth is that they will use this as time to consolidate themselves, regroup
ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Naveed Hussain’s article of January 6 titled “The Taliban and Hamid Karzai”. The fact of the matter is that the Taliban like to play games. We should know from experience that the Taliban say one thing and do another. They may say that they want to talk but the truth is that they will use this as time to consolidate themselves and regroup. Those in Pakistan who advocate talking to them should understand this reality.
