FOX RIVER GROVE, IL, US: Ms Gauhar’s piece was very well-written and in it she tries to present a realistic picture of the consequences for the country if the PTI were to come into power in Pakistan. I can understand some readers saying that she was being too critical and irreverent in her sarcasm but I think the overriding reason for such an article to be printed is the right of the people to know what they will face if a brand new party, and unknown one since it has never really been in power, were to form the government.
I would say that this is something that even strong supporters of the party should be asking of Imran Khan. As in, why are these people being taken into the party fold and how will he achieve all his goals given that in the past 64 years nobody could do anything.
